Become a superstar with at least nine friends and win £5,000 to share

FANCY RUNNING YOUR OWN LEAGUE?

Create a Super League in The Fantasy Game, get at least nine friends to join it, and you could win £5,000 to share among yourselves. The second-placed League will win £3,000 and the third-placed £1,000. We’ve also added a fantastic weekly prize for the top three highest climbers, based on the same principle as the weekly prize structure in the main game. The top-placed League will take home £1,000 every week, with the runner-up taking £500 and the third-placed £250.

See The Times every Wednesday for the winners with the top ten names and teams listed from the top three Leagues.

Super Leagues are a great way to challenge your friends and workmates, while still competing in the main game. When you have entered your team, you will see a Super League button on your team screen. Follow that link and the instructions using our easy-to-use form to invite friends, family and work colleagues to join your Super League.

The overall Super League winners will be decided after the last game of The Fantasy Game — tie-break rules apply. With your own Super League, you can enjoy all the excitement of being in the main game with the added benefit of competing head-to-head in your own private League, against as many friends as you can sign up.

Each team you enter can be part of only one Super League. If you are a League Chairman, you cannot join another League with that team. The winner will be the Super League with the highest average total of the top ten teams (Super Leagues with fewer than ten managers do not qualify for the prize awards).

Super Leagues are simple to set up and there is no extra cost for entrants to join. Once you have created your Super League, a link from your team screen will appear, which will take you to a League table showing the details relevant to your Super League.

You can invite other entrants to join your Super League during the opening part of the season, up to 12.45pm, September 24, 2005, which is the same time as the entry to the main game closes, after which time no new Super Leagues can be formed and entered teams cannot join a Super League.

If you do not register a Super League, you may be invited to join one by another player. Simply submit the name of the Super League on the website, plus the password that you will have been sent via e-mail. You will then be automatically entered into that league.

TRANSFER SYSTEM

USE YOUR TRANSFERS, YOUR OPPONENTS WILL

You may transfer as many players as you wish in and out of your team until midnight on Wednesday, August 10, without them counting against your total allocation of 24. Remember, your manager selection is fixed for the season as soon as you submit and pay for your entry.
